  jgnat: yes i have seen the list. i fact these are the articles i ZERO in on. because the history stories , always say the jw has been serving jehovah since 1900, 1920,30,40,50,or 1960. etc so i start on the year the article talks about . and start listing false prophecies and old light. then i ask was that worship acceptable to jehovah . to preach that garbage . so WHY is the wt printing today that it was. i try to keep it simple and not play bible ping pong. it is almost every week that they have a history story. and i work my dad on them all the time. i show NO QUARTER. HOPE I'M PLANTING SOME SEEDS....john

  jgnat very straingt to the point. and how true, i was at the county court today and stepped out for a smoke. well i see this 70 something jw walking by hiding half of his seed ( wt mag) rolled up half under his jacket. , and a bag that was making his frail body hunch over. so i walked along with him and asked . so i see you are wearing your yolk, sure looks heavy!!! then he tells me he is tired and he is 62 years old. i said wow only 62 you look like 75. i guess jehovah has been go to you. at your age you should have been in the new world about 10 times already. but he didn't want to talk. i guess he was just getting his fs time. i didn't have the heart to beat him to much. it was such a sad sight....john

  surely the most significant visible event in the history of the 20th century in terms of biblical importance was not the first world war, nor was it the remarkable acceleration in knowledge and technology, nor was it the restoration of jews to the land of israel.

  the most significant event of the 20th century just has to be the events of 1918 / 1919 in the captivity and the release of jehovahs organization from babylonish enslavement.

  i say this because so much biblical prophecy was fulfilled in those amazing world shaking events.

  refiners ;thanx so as i always say there is nothing like the proper spritual food at the proper time. and that sure was TASTY. SO any jw's want to step up to the plate and prove that jesus choose the wt in 1919? i don't know who had more to drink? me tonight -or the glorious one that printed that rotten food...john thank you again .......................

  WE HAVE HEARD ALL THE ABUSE STORIES , AND HAVE FELT FOR THE VICTIMS. NOW I WANT TO SEE ALL THE COURT CASES. AND THE WT PAY OUT MILLIONS. AND CHANGE OR BUNKRUPT. I WANT TO SEE ACTION . I'M WAITING WITH GLEE TO SEE THE WT POUNCED IN COURT. I HOPE IT IS COMING..JOHN

  Elder came...grasped at straws...and left. UPDATE!

  well i had a very interesting conversation on friday night.

  sorry to be so long letting you know what happened.. only one elder turned up and i was wrong in my original thought that my mum had given him my report, it seems he was coming to ask me to study, therefore he was totally unprepared for what was about to happen to him.

  but, i have to say, that he was the most honest elder i have spoke to and i'm sure you will be surprised by some of the things he said.. he started off wanting to know what made me stop going to the meetings and i related to him my experiences of a certain body of elders that had, to say the least, made me realise that they thought that they were a law unto themselves (including stealing, lying and generally being un-christian).

  search ; you did quite well, you never let him out of the box. that is what i was talking about . he was in his heels the whole time. if he wants to talk more i would tell him that you will talk to him and him alone. you gave the questions , he is a top guy , and you will only talk one on one . funny how he said read only wt from 1950.here were you have fun get out a few new wt were they are glorifing say 1919 or `1914 or the 22 convention . and press the issue . igve a few old wt false teachings from the time and ask was that worship acceptable to jehovah . and if the new wt mag talks about the old books etc why can't i read and quote them. is the wt hiding something. do you have a problem if i test what the wt teaches today about their past. you got him in hot water, from what you already said. keep up the great work and don't let them intimadate you. john

  I Don't Understand At All

  perhaps my problems with the new site are due to operator head space, but i don't think so.

  for the last two weeks or so, when i log into jwd, i have gotten the same page: page # 1674 beginning with "to my brother regarding the uss iowa," and ending with "the life they stole from me.

  when i click active topics, i get page # 2302, beginning with "what would a jehovah's witness romance novel be like?

  Elders coming...i'm shaking in my boots...NOT! Any help?

  i had a phone call last night from one of the elders asking if they can come around.

  when i asked him why he said it was to discuss whether i would be interested in having a study.. this is strange as i have been baptised since i was 14 and left about 4 years ago and have had little contact with any witnesses except my parents, but, the only thing that has changed over the last few weeks is that i put together a 50 page report documenting a range of subjects including the un involvment etc and give it to my mum.

  then within a week the elders want to ask my to have a study!.

  search ; i would go for the 1919 crap right away as others have said. And agree to have a year long study 5 hours a week on orginal wt's till 1919 to see if jesus really choose them by what they were teaching. also write down every lie or every thing they agree to . so when they switch one you , you can show them they got busted. but you have to keep in mind you can't let them out of the box or e3ven talk much. now here's were you put them on a total defensive. and after every false teaching or prophecy ask this question . WAS THIS TEACHING WORSHIP ACCEPTABLE TO JEHOVAH.. AS SOON AS THEY GIVE THE WRONG ANSWER. cut them off and read it again or give them another false prophecy,. here are some till 1919. the time of the end started in 1776,1780, 1798 or99, the stasrs and heavens colapased in 1831 , the teaching about the ten virgins was forfulled in 1844 , the light started to come to the anionted in 1865, then jesus was to return in 1872-73-74 75-78 -81 or he did but it was invisible6000 years of mans existance was in 1875- or 73 the great time of trouble was to start in 1905-07 then again in 1910-12 right before armageddom. 1914 1915, 1918 1920 for the big A. most of this is in the wt book the time is at hand. i don't know how much wt history you know, but even if you get some of the dates or teachings wrong keep throwing them out and keep asking the ? was this WORSHIP ACCEPTABLE TO JEHOVAH? AGAIN keep the pressure on don't let them talk much. cut them off every time. ask can god lie . and have some verses set for this. go into the pyramid stuff, and the picture of the egyptian god of the sun on many of the old books. did the pyramid really grow when jesus did not return in 1874? is it true that if a black man prays hard enough jehovah will make him white. let me get out a tape measure your skull to see if you can do the preaching work ? spanards are a backwards race? why did russell have the pittsburg newpapers come to a bridge on easter sunday 1881 to see him raptured into heaven . was russell really directing the preaching work from the grave in 1917. and rutherford was teaching million now living will never die in 1918 and said in 1917 that there will be no SLIP UP THIS TIME abraham will return in 1925 oct 15 1917 wt . the list goes on for 1000's of pages .. SO which OF THESE THING WERE WORSHIP ACCEPTABLE TO JEHOVAH. I LIKE TO USE A FEW SIMPLE VERSES on them jn 7:18 zep 3:13 prov. 1` so never let them talk just keep giving them everything you got.. at the end ask SO WHEN WOULD LIKE TO START THIS STUDY ON WT BOOK'S TILL 1919, to prove that jesus choose the wt in 1919. have fun. john

  yes ; i haVE POSED this question to many a jw. and most times to get that prerecorded answer. i set them up easy. then i give them what the wt really teaches. and they get MAD. BECAUSE IN LESS THAN a few minutes. i have made them lie to me. and they KNOW I CAUGHT THEM. IF they don't run away i will ask them to open the bible to duet 5 and go over the ten commamdants with them. now i ask them if they want to see how many more of the commandments they violate. as a rule the wt and jw violate at least 4or 5 the the ten commandments. if not more . this would be a good new thread to start.....john

  ok today at work i drive past the kh on 174st and longfellow ave. bx n.y. it's about 10 a.m. and the spanish cong is filling in for a meeting.

  well i stop and ask your some wt's.

  well the elder runs from the gate and gets all the sisters in side.

  my only thought was that the elder or p.o. . gave me a chance today to state my case as he did not do before. so he may have looked up some of the things i said before. he stood there and took it with out question . so i gave him all i could. and the 3 jw's listening. . that's all i can do . and i find the 2nd or 3rd enconter can make one think.

  Its been almost a year since I've been out; got a visit this past Sunday

  last year on may 18th i officially stopped attending jw meetings, i first told my wife and then i wrote a brief letter stating that i was resigning as a ms. over that time period i've had some doubts about whether or not i was doing the right thing, but basically i feel that i've made the correct decision.

  unfortunately i can't say that i've become more spiritual during these past few months, however i do feel more and more strongly that there are many things in the bible that may be erroneous.

  i'm not at the point of being an atheist, but i do feel that i'm ignorant of god's purpose for humans.

  just fast; hebrews 1st chapter. says that the time of the end was after jesus was cruxified. so that was 2000 years ago , not 1914 in fact hebrews chap. 1 makes the whole wt . look like crap. i found this site 6 months ago .. but i have looked all around the web and in in public and kh libraries for a few years. so i have a little background. . matt. 28 and eph 1 or 4 clearly say that jesus had kingdom power since the 1st century. i have no notes today but read your gospel and the holy sprit can be in you....freedom in christ
